Jesus Prays for the Church, John 17:20-26 - June 10, 2018

Jesus prays for everybody who would believe after His death. We learn that the Church is born of the Word, united in love, destined for glory, and accompanied by Jesus. The prayer proves that Jesus knew exactly what would result in His death - the birth of a new people for God.

For Mother's Day, we looked at a passage where Jesus shows us that a woman in labour is the picture that unlocks the meaning of diffiiculty in this life - we endure it with anticipation of something amazing to come. 

Is This Normal? 1 Peter 1:3-7. May 6, 2018

This can be a question that haunts us while we go through hard times. Not only do we find that its completely normal, but that it helps prove the value of our faith - and confirms the eventual realization of eternal life with God.
