The Israelites were engaging in unauthorized divorce, and God is not happy with them. In this sermon, we look at why divorce is wrong (in many cases), and how we can work towards a divorce free marriage that honours the Lord. 

Christ must always remain at the forefront of our hearts. Let us fix our eyes on him and pursue him with all that we have and all that we are.

The priests in Malachi's day had been given a special and privileged role. One that they sadly failed at. In this passage, they are rebuked and exhorted to return to their God-given duties. This passage, however, has application not just for Old Testament priests, but anyone whom God has called to lead, and also for his whole church, who are priests unto God. 

As we wrap up our series on being faithful and fruitful, we finish our time looking at the importance of remaining faithful to the end. There can be the temptation to grow weary in walking a holy and obedient life, but we must overcome by looking to Christ, remembering his promises, and walking by his Spirit's power. 

If you want to be faithful and fruitful, you need other believers. A "solitary" Christian is going to struggle with the Christian life. But thankfully, God has saved us into community, and we must make the most of it! 

Has the church of Christ lost it's zeal for God? Have we embraces a consumerist, lazy Christianity, rather than the fervent and zealous one our Lord calls us to? In this sermon we look at the dangers of passivity, and Paul's command to be fervent in Spirit. 

Sin is terrible. Like a disease, it will corrupt, blind, and inhibit us in our walk with the Lord. If we are to be faithful and fruitful, we must, by the Spirit, put to death the sin that still remains in our life. In this sermon we talk about WHY we must do that, and HOW we do that, so that we can be the servants God calls us to. 

As we look at walking faithfully and fruitfully for the Lord, the place we need to start is our relationship with the Lord. Jesus says we can do NOTHING apart from him, and therefore we must Abide in him. Specifically, abide in him by his word. For this sermon we look at how we can practically do that better. 

We constantly see the phrase in Scripture "Walk worthy of your calling"... What does that mean? Why should we be diligent to obey it? And how do we actually accomplish that as sinful human beings? 

In this sermon we look at the power of prayer and why we must never be neglecting it. What excuses do you use to not pray? What can you do to increase your prayer life? How ought we to pray? We talk about all of this and more!
